I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned my Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago and have been providing therapeutic services to individuals and families in Chicago for the past seven years. My clinical experience includes working with clients across the lifespan, in both community-based and outpatient settings.
We all need spaces in which we can freely explore our thoughts and feelings; spaces where we can be open about our life experiences, fears, and goals without being worried about judgment.
I believe therapy can be one of those spaces.
As your therapist, I will work with you to identify patterns and relationships in your life that are not serving you well, and help you explore ways to make change in those areas. I work from a client-centered, strengths-based approach, meaning that from the very beginning, I will recognize and incorporate your unique strengths into the healing process. I view my role as coming alongside you to provide insight and support as you work through issues and towards the life you envision for yourself.
I believe that a therapeutic relationship based in mutual respect, trust, and collaboration is what allows healing to occur, and I will strive to provide that space for you. I am passionate about providing trauma-informed, anti-oppressive care, and will take into consideration how your intersecting identities affect the ways in which you move through the world. I am a friendly, thoughtful, and empathic clinician, and will approach our work together with the assumption that you are the expert of your own experience. Together we will face things that may have previously felt beyond reach, with the ultimate goal of you living a more meaningful and fulfilled life.
