Jesse Harold is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. Jesse has a professional background in counseling, leave of absence administration, and personnel training and management in small business and corporate settings. He has worked in a variety of behavioral health settings from Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to Partial Hospitalization Programs providing direct client services and care management to adult clients. During his tenure in leave of absence administration, Jesse gained knowledge in FMLA, ADA, and Disability leaves and served as a liaison between employees and their HR departments. Jesse has onboarded, trained, and managed both EAP counselors and leave of absence specialists in becoming proficient in their duties including navigating Electronic Health Record systems. Jesse also managed day-to-day operations at a mom and pop running specialty store where he did everything from scheduling staff to lacing up shoes. Jesse’s recreational interests include exploring Chicago by bicycle, reading contemporary science fiction and books on counseling theory, and doting on he and his partner’s cats Patches and Lilith.
